Good stuff.
Hey, I know that you're involved either directly or indeirectly in the creative development of game stories, ala Gears of War. If not in violation of any agreement or anything, could you tell us if you'll be involved in the Halo3 plot?
I assume that the foundations are already there for the story (the HALO bible), but is there a chance you'll be involved with scripting of any in-game scenes or cinematic cutscenes?
I downloaded it to my iPod. I'll listen to it later through my XBox 360. :P
I'm listening to it now, and i realized I had a bit of a problem with something with GoO: the date for the second strike against Earth, as I understand (which i believe isn't a spoiler because that happens at the end of Halo 2) is on November 3rd. However, the first attack was October 20th. After much discussion about the duration of Halo 2, we found it to be about 24 hours, give or take a few hours.
I don't know whether you can answer this or not, but what happened between these two dates (october 20th 2552 and november 3rd)? Is this bungie stating that it was actually 13-14 days for Halo 2, or has it actually been only for 1 day like we think and the other Spartans have already missed a ton of stuff during the Halo 3 storyline?
Now that I see my full question, i realize it probably won't be answered if the second is somewhat true, but I had to ask.
And Frankie and CliffyB oiled down? Ugh...
Awesome interview.
Frankie and Cliffy B. I can't believe I'm saying this, but, yes, I would PAY to see that. Most I'd pay? To watch it on TV or download it? $10.
In person? $45. Easily.
EMF- I have no involvement with the HALO 3 plot. Bungie already has a fine writer, Joseph Staten, as well as a dedicated cinematic director.
SB- as you can guess, I cannot comment...not only because this is something that Bungie really should answer (or not), but also because I have turned in my copy of the HALO Story Bible and no longer have access to a master timeline to reference. Apologies.
I had a feeling that would be the answer. Alas, i had to ask.
There have been no new posts for a while as I’m having blogger issues.
Hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
Hi! Big fan of your non-HALO stuff... sad to see you go to that market though I understand the pressures. Anyway, I found my way here because you're amazon profile thingie promised a "a noir fantasy with a nod to H.P. Lovecraft," but can't seem to find it! Any clues?
