Seattle Wind Storm of ‘06

The wind storm in Seattle has knocked out my power. Thankfully no trees hit the house (although there were a few close calls) and we have a wood stove for heat. Just recently the roads were cleared of toppled trees and I’ve been able to get a tiny bit of Internet access. I’ll be out of touch for at least another week. Apologies if you’ve sent me email; I’ll be unable to reply.

In the meantime, I hope everyone has a great holiday!

Exactly what I had suspected. When Major Nelson and Bungie mentioned it.. I suspected you had been hit as well.

Glad you're ok!

Yeah, according to the news, there's still over 170,000 homes without power. Sorry about that.

Though if power died out here, that'd be pretty awesome for me. I'd actually write instead of being a lazy ass and hanging around online all day.

Sorry to hear about that, that's one of the things I do not miss about Washington. I still remember that Big Storm of '95 that caused such a panic in the area, had to eat Mac and Cheese for a few days straight because we couldn't cook any food. Now I just have to deal with hurricanes...

That's good you guys have a woodstove. Hopefully it's one that'll allow you to cook on it as well. Somehow, we managed to avoid disastrous loss of power over here in Lynnwood. No idea how, but I'm not going to complain. I hope you get something back soon, though. What are Syne's sheep going to do without any TV to watch? Well, other than become food and a sweater. (Hopefully it won't get that bad.);o)

I've got some family in the Wenatchee area and they said that there were 130 MPH winds on the top of Mission Ridge... Pretty wild.

Without power how can you play Gears of War??!

Haha, kidding. But in all seriousness, I noticed that you were credited with writing Gears of War on imdb! That's AMAZING! You're work is fantastic and I wish you the best in 2007. Keep it up!! (please)
