Let me say preemptively that apart from a “whoa!” and my well wishes to the people involved, I am obviously not going to comment or speculate on what this means for the larger HALO-Intellectual Property/ Bungie/ pan-galactic gaming universe at large.
Wow!
Huh. That was nice of Microsoft to let them out on their own (well, mostly). I've often been amused by the fact they started out making games for the Mac. I wonder if Steve Jobs looks at the Halo franchise and thinks iRegret. Either way, I can't wait to see what sort of games will be in the Bungie future.
Sources indicate that Microsoft didn't really have much of a choice as the company was somewhat bought out internally, though that could be wrong.
Regardless, to finish up the previous conversation, that makes plenty of sense (to not critique Halo 3's storyline). So while you aren't part of Bungie and won't be affiliating with them as you have in the past, I can respect that. If you change your mind, however, because of this change, there are undoubtedly plenty of people who'd love to hear your opinion.
Im not sure i like this but it´s not necessarily a bad thing that they have split.
But more important: What about you, how will this affect you and any future HALO-novels by you?
r104d -- At this point in time, I don't really know. Probably couldn't comment, anyway, if I did.... Sorry.
oh man i really hope you continue the series I love the book as much as the game. Hopefully everything works out for bungie.
ps. I cant wait to find out whats inside of onyx since i already know what happened to the master chief.
I think i might of found a error in Halo: Ghosts of Onyx. At the end of "First Strike" Dr. Halsey ran away with Linda. In "Ghosts of Onyx" Dr. Halsey is with Kelly. Dont know if its a mistake just want to get it cleared up. Sorry its not exactly with the original topic. Hope you make more Halo books.
I want you to keep up the excellent work on the halo novels.I can't wait to see what happens on Onyx.
