Game Writing Panel
My public appearances are portioned out in spoonfuls. In fact my readings and singings these days are about as frequency as proton decay (> once every 10^31 years!).
But this January 22 from 7-9 PM you can catch me and two other excellent game writers, John Sutherland and Joshua Ortega, as well as moderator Melanie Henry, as we talk about Writing for the Videos Games Industry at the Richard Hugo House in Seattle.
Hope to see you there.

Pending work lets me have that night off Shini and I just might be able to make it. Awesome!
robokoff - sorry to hear, man.
Nikoda -- It'd be great to see you and Shini. I'm sure you'd both have plenty of great questions for us!
What's the max occupancy for the Richard Hugo House? Shini's thinking of telling his assorted game design professors about the panel so they can tell all their students. He wants to make sure there's room in case they all decide it's something they want to attend.
I'm really into writing for video games. I write a lot of Halo fan fiction, and I like writing stories based on video games in general. I'm not a published writer yet, but I am thinking of contacting a game developing company and hopefully something nice will happen. *Dreams with his eyes open*. ;)
This sounds really cool, I might be there.
Room capacity is 50-70. Also note that admission is $7 (which all goes to Hugo House, a fine cuase).
Thanks! I tried looking it up on the website but couldn't really find it. Work gave me the night off so we'll definitely be there at least. I invited a couple of other people but they groaned at it being Cap Hill. *laughs* It's not that bad. Well, unless you live in Ballard, I guess.
hey have you considered opening an irc chat for like a week or so
Nikoda - Cool! Looking forward to seeing you both.
Robokoff -- I would love to, but I'm trying to simplify things over here, having deadlines and other projects that are taking you 110% of my time.
When you going to come play England?! :D
