Cylon War

So finally…one less project waiting to be announced!

You can read more and see some uncolored pages and two covers of the Cylon War comic mini-series my friend, Joshua Ortega, and I wrote many moons ago.

If you’re not a BG fan–just skip this (and what rock have you been hiding under for the last few years?!)

This new series covers the first Cylon War—how and why machines learned to kill, why they broke from their human masters…and how the heck the 12 Colonies survived! These are all the events that have set up the re-imagined BattleStar Galactica series.

I’ve dropped the covers and some line art on my facebook page/album.

Now (fingers crossed) some other things I’ve worked on recently will surface.

Soon. I hope.

And it looks like everything will come out within a few months of each other, too—it’s weird...as if I planned it that way (I didn’t).

Cylon Wars (Jan 09)--Mortal Coils (Feb 09)--Project X (Early 09)--and then Project Y (09 I hope)--and maybe even Project Z (not even started but also Fall/Winter 09 if all goes as planned!).

Hurray! Lots of potential work = happy writer.

And hopefully lots of Nylund projects = happy readers.

Lots of Nylund forays into the Haloverse = happy AngelicLionheart.

I have yet to get into the BG story -- been way too busy with other things, sadly. But that should be changing this holiday season. :D

Thanks Angel. Long time no see, btw.

Cylon War should be the perfect place to start the BG story :)

I saw on a news report that BG will grace us with final episodes starting in January. I don't understand exactly why they're dolling it out in such little bits. I mean do they WANT us to lose interest in it?

Congrats on the comic book--looking forward to it.

Oh, wow. I think I have been hiding under this rock called school and computers. Oh well, will be exciting to see how this will develop itself out, especially with you spearheading it!

I just thought I'd ask this here since it's all about comic books.

Do I need a literary agent if I'll publish a comic book and is a publishing house the same as a printing press?

Thanks. 'Hope to see this comic book on the shelves soon.

Just so everyone knows, since Eric posted it a few weeks back, the Hoff might not be running with Shatner today, but he was named president after President Ackerman (played by J.K. Simmons) meets his untimely demise in EA's Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3.

Can't say nobody tried.
